Petersime hires Hatchery Development Specialist
Petersime has added Dr. Eduardo Romanini to its Hatchery Development Department.
Eduardo will be based in Brazil and will be working mainly on the Latin American market, with a focus on supporting Petersime's customers with their incubation-related challenges. He will also be involved in the Petersime Hatchery Management Training programme.
After achieving his Master in Agricultural Engineering at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP, Brazil), Eduardo completed his Ph.D. in Bioscience Engineering at the University of Leuven (KUL, Belgium), combining the fields of incubation and precision livestock farming.
Eduardo says, "I've been closely involved in some of the research Petersime has been doing in cooperation with the University of Leuven over the past years. In my research on precision livestock farming applied to incubation, several of Petersime's embryo technologies were involved. For me it is a great next step to be able to work for this company and put my knowledge into practice."
The Petersime Hatchery Development Department plays a major role in the optimisation of a hatchery's performance, and the enhancement of the knowledge and operational skills of the hatchery staff of its customers.
